This was a Victory ship constructed
at the end of the Second World War. In 1952, she was sold
to Royal Rotterdam Lloyd and converted to carry passengers.
She worked as a migrant ship until she was sold again
to J Latsis - who used her for transporting pilgrims.
In 1965 she was converted for student cruising. She was
scrapped in 1970.
A clear sequence of Waterman passing
at sea.

Very good film of Oranje setting sail
from Southampton. Good close-up shots of the activity
on the quayside and the ship's superstructure. Followed
by a unique sequence of still photographs showing the
fire that ended her career.
